You have arrived at the website for Janet and Peter Watts. Our website is still under construction but in due course, we will be adding to the photographic gallery. We would very much like to hear from you so why not e-mail us from this website.

Here we introduce you to our creative skills in making photographic greetings cards as well as framed and mounted photographs. We not only offer images of the U.K but from around the world including Canada (including the Canadian Rockies), Alaska and Norway. We also have a series of "period" postcard reproductions and panoramic images from our travels as above.

About Us...

We live in the village of Shillington, an attractive traditional village in Bedfordshire in the south of the U.K.
We have over the years, archived a choice of images of our village. Needless to say we also offer reproductions of very old village views which make for individual greetings cards and framed pictures.

How do we present our cards..?, well, in a number formats as follows:

Cards ready for framing.

These comprise a 6 inch by 4 inch print, mounted into an 8 inch by 6 inch bevel cut mount, the whole presented ready for framing into your own 8 inch by 6 inch frame. Our price for this type of card is ŁUK2.50 each plus appropriate post and packaging.

Large Cards

These cards are made with a larger - 7 inch by 5 inch print - surface mounted onto a smooth, white, high quality, deckle edged white card. Our price for this type of card is ŁUK2.25 each plus appropriate post and packaging.

Standard Cards.

Our standard cards are offered as a 6 inch by 4 inch print mounted into an aperture mount, utilising a variety of aperture shapes and card colours.Our price for this type of card is ŁUK1.50 each plus appropriate post and packaging. .

Smaller size cards.

These cards are in smaller mounts and are suitable for "thank you" notes, invitations, short notes, or many other applications. Our price for this type of card is ŁUK1.30 each plus appropriate post and packaging.


All our greetings cards come with an envelope and are individually protected in a polypropylene bag. There are no internal greetings in the cards.

A brief summary of our framed pictures for sale....

 We have framed photographs from a nominal 3.5 inch square up to panoramic enlargements in frames at a nominal 26 inches by 12 inches.

Calendars...

When autumn arrives each year we start planning our range of calendars.......However, for that personalised calendar, we will use your own print. This combination produces a specially personalised gift for your friends and family. All calendars are A4 size.Our price for calendars is ŁUK3.00 each plus appropriate post and packaging, and each calendar is individually protected by a polypropylene bag.



Christmas Cards in various formats...


The images above indicate the 3 formats of Christmas card that we can supply. On the left are cards in coloured mounts, which, although intended for Christmas, could be used for other occassions. The centre image shows Christmas type images in white and cream mounts, whilst on the right, are images mounted into "Happy Christmas" mounts, available in red, green and blue. All Christmas cards are priced at ŁUK1.50 each plus appropriate post and packaging. Unlike many other Christmas card suppliers all our cards are all hand made, and perhaps more importantly our minimum order quantity is only 1. As such we are able, and willing, to supply smaller companies who perhaps cannot justify bulk buying from "catalogue" suppliers, with customised cards.
